Large folio (566 x 385 mm). Bound by Zaehnsdorf in the original half brown morocco over buckram boards, with their stamp to the lower edge of the verso of the f.f.e.p., the centre of the upper board attractively gilt-blocked with an elevation of the west front of the cathedral, the spine divided into six compartments with raised bands, gilt lettered and dated in two, the remaining compartments decorated with a floral gilt centre tool, t.e.g., the remaining edges uncut, marbled endpapers; xvi, 29, vii pp. frontispiece and 31 numbered plates, of which 8 are collotypes including the frontispiece, the remaining plates lithographed, all plates with the original paper guards, 4 b/w figures within the text; minor rubbing to the board edges but otherwise a bright copy.
