Divided into four principal suites of plates, each with elevations, sections and plans: Cottages, Lodges, Villas, and Ornamental Brick-Work. The suite of cottage designs is sub-divided into Gothic, Italian and Semi-detached designs intended for bailiffs, gamekeepers and gardeners. The lodges are designed in a range of Elizabethan, Gothic, Italian and Old Scotch styles. The villas are designed in Elizabethan, French School, Gothic, Italian, Old Scotch and Semi-Detached Italian styles, The final three plates illustrate designs for bands of ornamental and polychromatic brickwork.
